San Diego, CA - Last night, there were reports of a woman in her forties being overcome by a large, furry monster in the valleu at dusk.  He came after her in her very own front yard and escaped with one of her possessions.  She was very distraught due to this creature being quite wild eyed and large.  She said that he galloped like a horse, bounded like a deer, and savaged her stolen possession like a lion on a lamb.   Accompanied by her daughter, the woman stated that they were both fearful, but the daughter managed to take several pictures of the thief.  The thief is now being referred to as the "Valley Country Shoe Thief" all over the country as news hits the headlines.

The pictures are not of the best quality.  Please do not be alarmed at some of the disturbing images of this crazed shoe thief.  If you see this creature who is still at large, please call your local police department.  He is armed with one shoe and very dangerous.  We believe this is not the first shoe that he has stolen.
